Celebration of Life
Heide's California Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 11 at Nestldown in the Los Gatos
Mountains. Please arrive by 12:30 as the celebration will begin promptly at 1:00pm. The Ceremony will be in a
shaded forest setting so bring a light covering and please wear sensible shoes for semi trail walk. This is a
family celebration since Heide touched and inspired people of all ages and we welcome and encouraged you
to bring your children - there is a beautiful play area, a working train and we’ll provide supervision.
This is a celebration to honor our time with Heide and the colorful memories of we have of her. Please share
this by wearing bright colors inspired by her smile, eyes and personality. Wine, Beer & refreshments will be
served at the main house after the ceremony.
Directions to Nestldown (please carpool as parking is limited and please use these directions for
the easiest route):
- Highway 17 South towards Santa Cruz, exit at Summit Road.
- Off the exit, make a right and cross back over the freeway.
- Make a left at the stop sign to Summit Road East.
- Go about 1 mile, make a left onto Old Santa Cruz Highway.
- Go about 0.6 miles and look for the group of 4 green mailboxes off
to the right side of the road. This is it!
- Drive down the long driveway to the left of the green mailboxes
marked by Pink Signage and you will come to a gated parking area.
The North Dakota Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 22 at
10:30am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Devils Lake.
